Revdanda Aagarkot, also known as Revdanda Fort is approximately 17 km away from Alibaug. In the year 1558, Soj, a captain from the Portuguese ground forces constructed this fort. A glimpse of Revdanda Port is visible from Revdanda Aagarkot.
Tourists can get a complete prospect of Revdanda fort, the beach and port from a span that links up Alibaug and Murud, known as the Salav Bridge. The fort has seven floors and is covered up by groves of betel nut and can be viewed from inside.
This land site renders a picturesque scene of bulwarks bordered by palm trees that are kissed by sea waves when tides are high.
